I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how many page views my 31 Minute Flaming Rock Bowl tutorial was getting. Then I realized that the only reasonable conclusion that this semi-reasonable person could make of that is that my readers like setting stuff on fire. Alright, well I can handle that. As a matter of fact, I can feed the flame (total pun intended).

Thus, I bring to you a “swedish flame” from comfyho.com (ha, ha… comfy ho… you know you can’t say it without smirking). According to the comfy-ho, all you do is cut your log through with two straight perpendicular cuts, leaving about six inches at the base. A chainsaw would be easiest, but an ax would suffice. Then throw a cap full of lighter fluid into the cut. Simple. The log will burn for several hours. I imagine the top of the log would make a nice cooking surface if you’re planning on preparing something yummy.

There you have it, all you pyromaniacs.

Cheers!
