This do it yourself headboard turned bench is a great idea. You can find old head and foot boards at plenty of garage sales. Or, chances are you already have one hiding in your garage, like Gail over at My Repurposed Life blog had. Gail had spied a headboard turned bench project a while earlier and decided to put her own spin on the idea. The results, well you judge. Looks pretty darn good to me. The bench and table she made is just the right size for her kids and will make an awesome craft table for them.
