Take a look at this lovely copper garden sculpture. It’s more a piece of art than a do-it-yourselfer. What I really like about it is that over time the copper will oxidize nicely giving it warm green patina.

The instructions direct you to do some soldering (not hard to do, but here is a quick how-to for the soldering novice). But if you don’t want to bother with soldering you can simply use a quick-dry epoxy. I found copper bells here and copper tubing here. Other than that you just need some wire and screws. And if you don’t want it to chime, just remove the inside of the bell.
