Here’s a super easy egg coloring technique for some really cool looking Easter eggs. Start by mixing your coloring according to instructions. You can use either food coloring or any commercial Easter egg coloring kit.

Place about a half inch of the prepared coloring fluid in a glass or cup and stand the egg upright in it. Let sit for about 3-5 minutes. (The longer it sits, the darker the color.) Next, add another half inch of water and repeat for another 3-5 minutes. Keep doing this until the water has covered the top of the egg and you’ll end up with some beautifully gradient colored eggs.

p.s. I always mix my coloring dye with a little less water than the instructions recommend. That way I get a richer color.
