I know i’ve said this before, but I’ll tell you again: I LOVE finding way cool ideas. This one goes in that pile: transferring your photos and images onto wood. When I first heard of this I thought the process was going to be some high tech, i.e. expensive, process that was out of reach to the average person. Nope. Sometimes I love being wrong. This is one of those times. Transferring you photos and other images to wood is simple. All it requires is some wax paper, a printer, and wood. Oh, yeah, you’ll need a picture, too. Any picture that you can print on your printer will work. I’m not going to tell you all the details. I’ll leave that up to Karen at The Heart Of Doing Stuff blog. She put together a really easy to follow tutorial. So, check out her how to print pictures on wood, wax paper transfer tutorial at The Art of Doing Stuff.
Cheers!
