In the past week I’ve posted How To Make An Easy Raised Garden Bed On A Budget and for folks who don’t have a large yard to build a garden bed, I’ve introduced How To Make A Portable 4′x4′ Garden Bed On Casters For Deck Or Patio. So now that you have your planting bed, it’s time to start planting. Now you have two choices to make: either buy small starter plants or sprout your own seeds. You’ll save tons of money on the latter. So here I’ve found you a great tutorial not just on sprouting your own seeds, but doing it in a very ingenious way: in egg shells. There are a few awesome things about starting your own seeds this way. First, it’s completely environmentally friendly. Second, it’s a great source of fertilizer. And finally, after the seeds sprout you can plant them, shells and all, directly into the ground. So easy!
