Hi All! Thanks for stopping by today! If you’re new here, then please SIGN UP FOR EMAIL ALERTS so you don’t miss another fun DIY!
My friend recently said to me that I really need to post more than once a week. She is absolutely right. I do occasionally get a second DIY up on the blog in a week, but whoa, that ends up leaving no rest for the wicked. (I don’t really know what that means, but everyone says it. :-)
Some things I’ve seen other DIY blogs post in between projects include round-up posts, i.e., posts showing off other bloggers work in a specific area. I used to do that in the early days of the blog (like five months ago) before I began posting my own projects and I was only featuring other bloggers’ work. It is always pretty fun and fascinating to see how five different creative minds approach a similar project.
Other round-up posts I’ve seen show us wonderful decorating inspirations, like beautiful bathrooms or wonderful beach house decor. I love how these posts help us dream of what can be in our own home.
So I’ve decided I’ll be adding back some occasional creative inspiration posts to wet your whistles and bring you additional fun ideas for your home.
In the meantime, today I thought I’d simply share a sneak peak of what I’m currently working on…
Is it a bird?
Is it a plane?
No silly. It’s a ….
Sorry, I’m not spilling the beans. But let me tell you, it’s really cool. And I’m almost done making it and willl have the whole tutorial posted pretty darn soon. So please stay tuned!

I have no idea what you are working on…but from what I see…I LOVE IT! I can not wait to see the final project! I personally love round ups….so many great ideas that I would not have seen without them…I even have a Pinterest Board for just rounds ups!
Thanks Kim! Yeah, I guess I’ll be putting together some round-ups. It’s the only way I can keep up the pace! :-)
That looks so lovely that I can’t wait to see what the end result is!
Thank you so much Mimi! I was hoping to finish it today, but then got caught up with some care issues for my Dad (he’s 92!) that took me all day so I didn’t get anything done. If only there was more time in the day OR I didn’t need to sleep.
I am looking forward to seeing what it it going to be! #Saygdayparty
Can’t wait to show you Caroline! Coming soon!
These are lovely, Jenise! And there are so many different things they could be used on!
