These really fun concrete hand planters are such a clever idea idea to add something very unique to your garden. They’re the work of the folks over at Blue Fox Farm blog. As you can see, they used an old pair of gardening gloves to cast the hands. What a great use for those old gloves that you’re going to throw away. For more info, check out the full tutorial from Blue Fox Farm.

Now, if you don’t have an old pair of gloves that you’re ready to toss, try using some disposable plastic gloves like they did at Studio 50.

The folks over at Studio 50 cast and adjoined two hands for a completely different look. According to Kim, from Studio 50, “to join the gloves together when casting we cut a slit on the inside of the pinky side of the glove, turned out the lips of that cut and duck taped them together so you’ve created an opening for the concrete to join the two hands together.” For more info and details, head on over to Studio 50!
