Mosquitoes love me. It doesn’t matter where I am or who I’m with, I get terribly bitten up while everyone else is completely fine. And the only reason they’re fine is because those buggers are always too busy eating me alive. So I’m really glad to have found this all-natural DIY mosquito repellant. The sprays I’ve purchased in the stores all stink terribly and as soon as I put them on I immediately feel like I need a shower. This DIY mosquito repellant is a mix of essential oils in a witch hazel base. No nasty, stinky chemicals. It includes peppermint essential oil which I have heard is good at repelling fleas, not that I have fleas. :-) But if it can keep fleas away then mosquitoes should be a piece of cake. So to keep those nasty buggers away this summer, check out this Make Your Own All-Natural Mosquito Repellent Spray tutorial and let those little vampires find someone else to suck dry.
And if you want to up the ante with an additional DIY bugger protection, try this very budget friendly DIY Citronella Wine Bottle Tiki Torch…
